Brad & Jolie split, so Brad splashes out on a ‘Cave’

January 26, 2010, Posted by admin at 2:38 pm

I still can’t believe they have split, but then again you can’t make a hoe a housewife. That was pretty harsh but you were thinking it too! Anyway, in order to deal with his broken relationship Brad has splashed out on a £700,000 house, complete with a cave, in the Hollywood Hills.

A source confirms, ‘Brad has had his eye on it for some time but he decided now was the right time to buy because he wanted a place to call his own.

‘He needs somewhere quiet that doesn’t have memories of Angie and where he can be alone and think about what he does next.’

Could Robert Pattinson become the new Spiderman?

January 17, 2010, Posted by admin at 11:08 pm

The Twilight sensation Edward Cullen, I mean Robert Pattinson, is one of the hot favourites to clinch the lead role in the new Spider-Man 4 movie replacing Toby Maguire.

The Daily Variety reported movie bosses are planning to make a prequel about Spider-Man’s alter-ego, Peter Parker and Pattinson may be on the cards to play him.

A source tells the Daily Mirror, “The buzz in Hollywood is all about R-Patz as the hot, young thing being lined up to fill Tobey Maguire’s shoes. It would be a hard act to follow as fans were traumatised at the news Tobey was going.”

Could this turn into a war of the hunks as High School Musical star Zac Efron also has his eye on the role. My opinion is neither are worthy of the spider, an unknown actor may be what the Exec’s should go for. Just a little thought.

Can Avatar make you suicidal?

January 14, 2010, Posted by admin at 10:20 pm

Apparently it can as according to fans, the need to go to the planet Pandora becomes unbearable when the film ends. While watching the film they are so happy and yearn to be part of the fictional world on the fake utopian planet Pandora. But after the credits roll some fans say they are plagued by suicidal thoughts.

The James Cameron blockbuster tells the story of a typical American corporation trying to mine for a rare mineral on the planet Pandora after Earth’s resources have been depleted, sounds familiar doesn’t it? The planet is full of harmony, warmth and beauty, with fans craving this make believe world once they leave the cinema. On a website, Avatar Forums, one topic “Ways to cope with the depression of the dream of Pandora being intangible” has more than 1,000 posts. This is extremely worrying. This is one post from a Swedish teenager on another Avatar site,
“When I woke up this morning after watching Avatar for the first time yesterday, the world seemed grey. It was like my whole life, everything I’ve done and worked for, lost its meaning … It just seems so meaningless. I still don’t really see any reason to keep doing things at all. I live in a dying world.”
I seriously think some people need counselling, I mean IT’S A MOVIE! Get over it! My suggestion is to help PLANET EARTH, recycle, don’t use harmful emissions and for God’s sake stop feeling BLUE and start thinking GREEN.

Top 10 Celebrity Mug Shots of the Noughties

January 14, 2010, Posted by admin at 9:05 pm

The decade of utter shame for these celebs (and many others) as they couldn’t buy their way out of jail (on most cases) but got a free photoshoot!

1.    Michael Jackson

This looks like a scary character from a film, sorry Mic, it’s just too weird!

2.   James Brown

RIP the Godfather of Funk but dear lord he could’ve done his hair!

3.    Kat Williams

Love this pic as comedian Kat gives the ‘Po Po’ the cheesiest grin ever.

4.    Paris Hilton

Lip gloss? This dopey celeb probably treated the police like her PA ‘touch up please…NOW’

5.    Shia Labeouf

Either Shia overdosed on Red Bull or he is high off some other strange substance.

6.    Mischa Barton

Mischa is sporting the ‘crack-head’ look in her pic.

7.    Heather Locklear

Deer in the head lights?

8. DMX

He is so used to the mugshot routine that he pops a smile.

9.   Kiefer Sutherland

24′s Keifer still keeps his charm in his mugshot.

10.    Mickey Rourke

Mickey looks almost as comfortable as DMX!

Trailer Review – The ‘A Team’ 2010

January 13, 2010, Posted by admin at 12:22 pm

It’s back and coming to a cinema near you but you’ll have to wait a few months until summertime for its release. If you’ve just come back from space or are under 25 you may not have heard of this 80’s TV classic remake. Directed by ”Smokin’ Aces” director Joe Carnahan and produced by famed filmmaking brothers, Tony and Ridley Scott, this movie is sure to be one of the highly anticipated movies of the year.

But I must say the trailer is, well…utter rubbish and totally predictable. Unlike Batman Returns and Casino Royale, the A Team remake is not made with a futuristic view. It looks bland, unexciting and minus the special effects, it looks like the same ol’ A Team (minus the original cast). A trailer should be the best parts of the film to entice the audience in but this is only deterring me from watching it. However, I will watch it and hope the film will be better than the trailer but as we know from Transformers 2, this probably won’t happen. Take a look, what do you think?

Sex & The City 2 Trailer

January 3, 2010, Posted by admin at 2:25 am

The first Sexy & the City film was beyond words, I was really surprised at how emotional I got. I cried not once but twice as it felt like Carrie was actually one of my friends! I’m so happy that their doing another film but wonder if it can be as good? I mean I’m a fan from the TV show and will still watch the re-runs but the trailer doesn’t seem so exciting as the first film. What are your thoughts?
