I was really excited about this launch and hoped it would be an innovative and futuristic approach by Apple. But consumers are not very impressed a survey has revealed.
Days after Apple’s worldwide launch, 64% of the people surveyed admitted they were unmoved with the device. 2,108 people did the survey on MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, which revealed a tiny 9% would buy an iPad and four out of five people agreed it was a “scaled-up iPod Touch.”
I can only think that those surveyed were PC lovers who despise Apple for taking risks. Can you tell I’m a huge Apple fan? I’m also glad a celeb has backed Apple, Stephen Fry. Fry confirms from the Guardian, “There’s much to like, of course. But there are two chief reasons for its guaranteed success. It is so simple… It is made by Apple.”
I can’t wait to get my hand’s on one!

Ipods were by far the best thing of the 2000’s, the adverts alone were amazing.

These memories are taken from Yolkstalks new favourite website – Thenoughtiespage.com. It’s the first online time capsule of the Noughties, a ‘unique account of the Noughties from real people like you’. We just love it! Here are the top 10 technology memories of the decade –
1. HD and the Ipod have shaped the Noughties for me, as well as the best thing since TV – The net & Google. Laurent, Paris
2. The Noughties lost Myspace but gave birth to Face-hook but my fav website has to be Wiki, the source of all knowledge! Craig, Liverpool
3. The 2000s had great strides in technology but was marred by 8 years of US/UK neoconservatism and chaos. Jonathan, Ottawa, Canada
4. The decade of the mobile phone with everything – the camera, the music, the videos, the APP’s, the net….The Iphone! Benjamin, Texas
5. Before the Noughties there was no WIKI, no FACEBOOK, no IPOD & no TWITTER. How did we live before????? Rebecca, Sheffield
6. Google ARE the Noughties. They have changed the face of the Internet forever & continue to buy out everyone! May Google live on! Steve
7. Remember when PC’s were king? Well they are still popular but as rubbish as ever! MAC all the way baby. Im a MAC & PC’s are wack! Jen
8. The Noughties remind me of social networking sites like Myspace, Facebook, Twitter & Youtube, websites that changed networking. JK
9. My Tom Tom is the best thing from the Noughties. I’m a female driver & would literally be lost without it! Bonnie
10. My Sky plus box is one of the great things of the Noughties. The power to pause, stop & record – priceless! Jon
