Top 10 Public Memories of the Noughties – Green Issues

December 30, 2009, Posted by admin at 6:34 pm

These memories are really important issues that are prominent throughout thenoughtiespage.com. People can see a change is needed and the noughtiespage has highlighted this change but we, the people, have to actually put it into gear and make the CHANGE. The below memories highlight being green, recycling, change & global warming.

Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the Earth’s near-surface air and oceans since the mid-20th century and its projected continuation. (supplied by Wikipedia)

Here are the top 10 GREEN memories of the Noughties–

1. Climate change will affect us all if we don’t use our brains & stop wasting! We are the most intelligent species on earth aren’t we? Tom, N

2. People we have to make a stand, we have to save our future & recycle what we can, use less energy & CHANGE! Boris, Essex

3. Has time gone that quick? Advise to the nx generation- recycle, don’t abuse the planet and take note of the events in the noughties! Sam, UK

4. Global warming has changed the way we act & think during the Noughties, I only hope it gets even better xx Maria, NY

5. I must admit I thought recycling was a load of rubbish (no pun intended). But now I can’t get enough, I’m addicted. Barny

6. People are still ignorant to global warming, although the Noughties has made people more aware. We need to CHANGE! Ken

7. GLOBAL WARMING,WAR,EXPLOTATION and a thousand more wrong things that will still be here for the next dacade…another deprecing decade. Anon

8. People of the next decade need to learn from our mistakes. Recycling, charity and saving energy are our biggest priorities now. Freddy

9. There were so many world issues throughout the Noughties that need attention. We don’t need politicians to make a better planet. Gusto

10. I watched the film ‘End of the Line’ and was taken back by the issues it tackled. We must preserve and protect our planet! Helen
