Stabbed man buys a Coffee with Knife Intact
December 23, 2009, Posted by admin at 4:08 pm
This probably applies to the majority of people, if you got stabbed the first thing you’d do is cry or scream, right? Well, a 52-year-old man walked into a restaurant with a 5ins knife sticking in his chest and ordered a coffee.
The man told staff in the diner in Warren, Michigan, that he was waiting for an ambulance.
George Mirdita, restaurant employee said: “It was like out of a movie. It kind of freaked us all out here.
“To come in with something stuck in your chest and order a cup of coffee, and sit down… he was mingling with the guy next to him,”.
Police said the man called 911 saying he had been stabbed – and then walked a mile to the restaurant. The man is said to be doing fine and the Police are still looking for his attacker.

I can’t believe I’ve only just discovered this guy! If you don’t know about the dancing cop, you need to see him in action. Tony Lepore, 62, regularly dances as he directs traffic in Providence, Rhodes Island. He is a true dancing veteran, having started his funky moves back in 1984! Check him out

Top 5 Christmas traditions across the World!
December 14, 2009, Posted by admin at 1:10 pm
I absolutely love Christmas, not because of the presents but because of the food, family and did I mention food? Here are some of the traditions around the world! Number 1 is my fav.
.
1. Venezuela: Feliz Navidad – Venezuelans attend a daily early morning church service, December 16th-24th, called Misa de Aguinaldo (Early Morning Mass). In Caracas, the capital city, it is customary to roller-skate to this service. Before bedtime children tie one end of a piece of string to their big toe and hang the other out the window. The next morning, roller-skater’s give a tug to any string they see hanging. Sounds fun actually!
.
2. Italy: La Befana – similar to Santa Claus; she rides a broomstick rather than a sleigh, but is not considered a witch and then there’s Santa Lucia (Saint Lucy) a blind old woman who on December 13 brings gifts to children in some regions, riding a donkey hahaha
.
3. Latvia: Ziemassvētku vecītis (Father Christmas) brings presents on each of the 12 days of Christmas starting on Christmas Eve. Usually the presents are put under the family Christmas tree. What every kid could wish for and what every parent would hate!
.
4. Czech Republic: Svatý Mikuláš (Saint Nicholas) – he brings gifts in the evening of 5 December, the day before he goes on holiday. He often gives sweets and fruits, for nice kids, and potatoes and coal, for naughty kids. LOL hope I don’t get a potato this year!
.
5. Germany: Nikolaustag (St. Claus day December 6th) you leave a clean shoe or boot outside the door on December 5th and the next morning you find presents (if you were a good kid) or a rod (if you were bad). A rod? How random is that?
Do you know any tradition worth mentioning? please let us know and spread it to the world…

The weirdest website we’ve seen so far
December 1, 2009, Posted by admin at 12:50 pm
I stumbled along a website called TheTextPage.com, which looks quite weird and uncommon amongst the majority of websites we see online. It’s full of colourful text and was created by an MBA student who didn’t have any money to pay his University fees. It’s funny because if you would have asked me If I think this idea could make more than $1, I’d probably just laugh and say ‘Hell NO’! But it has actually gained him over $28,000! I think it’s because it’s not only a quirky, fun and honest website but the guy is actually very intelligent and has established Pay Per character Advertising, which is very beneficial for search engine optimization. I think Google will want to get his number hah. Step2Reality TV has been following the story since the start and a documentary will be broadcasted in 2010. You can watch the trailer here:
